Footbridge CMS Dashboard
Project Overview
This project focused on redesigning our internal CMS dashboard, a key tool used by our web builders. The goal was to improve the user experience and interface while also establishing a consistent branding style across all of our proprietary software solutions. I led both the design and the front-end development of the project, working with Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript to deliver a modern, streamlined dashboard.
Problem
The existing CMS lacked consistent design components and cohesive branding. Users found the software disorganized, with core features not easily accessible, which slowed down workflows. Certain sections could be condensed, and new features were needed to help web builders work more efficiently.
Solution
I began by gathering feedback from our users and creating a feature prioritization matrix to identify which features were essential and which could be simplified. I also conducted a competitive analysis of other CMS platforms to inform the redesign. One of the key outcomes was the page builder, which enables our web builders to insert curated sections such as testimonials, services, and project pages using short codes. This streamlined content creation across client websites and resulted in a Footbridge Media branded CMS that is both robust and efficient.
