Project Overview
We developed a custom CRM dashboard as part of our core marketing program for contractors, designed to help them streamline and manage their businesses more efficiently. I led the UX/UI design and front-end development, with a focus on creating a mobile-first, user-friendly solution that allows clients to quickly access key information and use the CRM effectively.
Problem
Currently, clients learn the software through an onboarding session with a marketing agent. This process is time-consuming, cannot be recorded, and offers no reference for future questions. As a result, clients frequently reach out to our team for guidance on both simple and complex issues, creating unnecessary back-and-forth communication and slowing overall adoption of the CRM.
Solution
I started by revisiting the user persona we had created for our client base. Because our clients are often busy and not always tech-savvy, the documentation needed to be simple, well-structured, and intuitive. Knowing that most users would access the page on mobile, we prioritized a mobile-first design approach. I also analyzed competing CRM platforms to see how they structured their resources and applied those insights to our solution. After multiple design refinements, I finalized the layout and developed the front end for the CRM documentation site.
